    Medion Notebook fails POST... help?

    Hi,

    My friend has a Medion WID 2020 notebook bought in Germany from Aldis.. Its 2 years into its 3 year warranty and im about to organise getting it sent back for her (regarding returns... she doesn't have the original packing... Is this a problem?).

    Anyway its has had some display problems which were solved by moving the screen, but now when its started, goes through the POST procedure then beeps slowly four times and turns off. I've looked at POST error codes but i have no idea which bios the notebook has and obviously i can't turn it on to look!

    Appreciate any help...
