Does anybody when the Merom processors are gona come out for the Asus S96J or the COMPAL Hel 80. I checked powernotebooks, gentechpc, geared2play, and discountlaptops, but still nothing. I can wait until the second week of Sept.

I think it's safe to assume that the first shipments of Merom sold out long ago, especially since they are said to be very small. Late September/early October is probably more realistic if you haven't already preordered a Merom system.

I'm getting the HGL30 with a 2.0Ghz Yonah and then upgrading to Meron in a year when Vista is out and mature.
