    MiniPCIe SSD in JHL90

    I don't have experience with MiniPCIe. (Don't even know what it looks like yet.) But when I bought my JHL90, it had options for extra MiniPCIe modules that I refused, which leads me to believe that there should be a couple of slots unused.

    What I really want to do is hook up some extra SSD storage for speed and to give the mechanical drive a rest. This is what I've been looking at:

    What do you guys think? Are SSDs like this one only compatible with selected netbooks?

    Last time I checked up on MiniPCIe SSDs, they weren't that great. They should be compatible but companies haven't been putting in research to speed up this type of SSDs, so performance won't be all that (not much better than a HDD). Hopefully, things are changing (or have changed already...) and you will see better SSDs for MiniPCIe slot.

    I don't think the bios is configured to look for data storage on the PCI bus...

    well, there is a spare PCIe slot in JHL90, you might try it and let us know how it went. Pioneer the way))))
