I looks very nice, I definitely prefer the look of the 6324. I'd still love to see shots of one with a black keyboard!

Is it my imagination or does the keyboard raise up slightly around the right hand alt key? I can't work out if it's a camera lens distortion or not! It wouldn't stop me from getting one tho as the spec they can cram into a 14" laptop is great.

Here's a pic with the black keyboard. It's taken with my mobile so it's not the best picture.

The last three pictures are from this ebay auction which was cancelled by the seller for some unknown reason (discussed in this thread). Were you the ebayer?

Nice pictures, I have to say I think white-white looks better.

I reckon white and white looks nicer but I would think white/black would be more practical! I've seem some pretty grim looking off-white iBook keyboards in the past!

thanks CLB-NL & Zarx for the pics..

Hi, nice pictures, you have produced some nice Zepto laptop reviews so far. Keep up the good work!!! I have a tiny question... looking at your (and other) 6324 pictures i have noticed that the keyboard and inside of the laptop has a tint of grey to it rather than the artic looking white that is shown all over the laptop on the Zepto website. Just exactly how white is the 6324? Is it Ipod/Nintendo DS white or does it indeed have a tint of grey to it in areas? Is it just the lighting? Is its colouring uniforn all over the laptop? (bar the underside which is obviously black)

Sorry for asking so many questions

Could you post some pictures of the backlight shining through the lid on the 6324w? Would be nice to get a few pictures from different sources to evaluate how big of a problem it might be.

    Your Welcome!

    Thanks!

The laptop is a little bit broken white, very very light noticible!
It's not a grey-tint for sure, but just a little bit broken white :)

    I haven't got a 6324W myself, so I can't :)

there is no light through the case problem. this was just a 1 or 2 off case. this case is basically the same as older Znotes, and they didnt have the problem

Oh, that's excellent news! Would be nice to get it confirmed from actual owners of the 6324w though.

    It looks really sleek!!

What I am wondering about isn't the traditional backlight leakage that occurs on the screen, but rather the issue of the backlight shining through the white plastic lid. Looks very weird in the dark, and doesn't give an impression of quality in my opinion.

Just to make that clear :)

i got a 6324W and i can see 4 or 5 squares on the back cover of the lcd when its dark. however if i turn the brightness down to minimum you wont see it. and minimum brightness is enough (for me atleast) when you use it in a dark room. the blue powerbutton led is actually more annoying in the dark, its so bright it almost blinds me.

I guess we can pretty much confirm that this is the case of every 6324w cause mine has the same issue, it doesnt bother me one bit though.

CLB, it looks like the pic zarx posted in the other thread.
