I had problems with my Zepto Znote 6224W which you can read here:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=328112

    And this is my RMA-story:

Thursday the 5th of february UPS picked up my laptop
Monday the 9th of february it arrived at Zepto

They claim to fix the problem within 15 working days...

I haven't got any automatic statusupdates or something like that..
I have emailed once and got an reply the day after: quite nice..

And after that I used the LiveChat once and there was said that I needed a new screen..
Hmm okay weird problem, but if they say so, that would be it...

Thursday the 5th of march Zepto let UPS pick up my repaired laptop..
So that is the 19th working day, but okay I will forgive them..
This monday, the 9th of March I recieved my laptop and..

   ITS ****ED UP AS ****ING ****ING HELL

    1. There is a huge scratch on the outside of my screen

    2. There is missing a cover on a screw on the front:

The right side is quite okay:

    The left side isn't
    [IMG]

    3. They have replaced my normal US-keyboard with a weird Danish one:

    4. It's a ****ING glare-screen instead of a matte screen:

    5. It's a ***ING WXGA --> 1280x800 screen instead of a WXGA+ --> 1440x900

SO I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!!

The LiveChat is offline at the moment, but tomorrow I'm gonna try it,
because I'm not excepting this nonsense. On the delivery-note I can read
that they have put in a new non-glare screen... But it is a WXGA glare screen

Phew... Sounds like the techician (s?) that fixed your laptop are trainees or just don't know heck about what they should be doing.. This is why i purchased my new one from a retailer. If such things happen, they are responsible..

I used the LiveChat today for some answers...
And it was a quite nice conversation! They offered me quite a kind of hardware-upgrades,
but the problem is that I've bought all that hardware myself two weeks ago...

So now I'm waiting for an alternative... I'll keep you informed!

Such things even happen with Lenovo or Dell. Some service people are just dumb.

Because I had exams I asked Zepto if I could send my 6224W
back at the first of April (afther my exams) and that was okay...

So yesterday I tried to put on the 6224W and my screen doesn't function again...

So now UPS have to pick it up again, it has to go to Denmark again and they have to fix the same problem again.. I hope it will be fixed forgood because this is quite a-relaxed...

My 3415W's fingerprint reader died upon me recently, and my 3.5mm audio jack being weird, and I thought that I'd send it in for a fix, but heck, after reading these recent nightmares with Zepto Europe (and especially their Danish section, where mine is from), I'm having quite a doubt about it.

Yesterday my 6224W came back again and it looks like it's finally allright!

They've changed the screen, the screencover, the motherboard, the keyboard, the inverterboard and they placed a HDD and 4GB of RAM for free!

At the moment I'm working on it and it all seems fine, finally...
So I hope it doesn't show the black screens anymore, otherwise I'm gonna cry!

Yeah finally, hopefully it will work several months again and then I'm gonna sell it!

Just played some games and my GPU is only getting 81 degrees!
Before the 2 RMA's it was 105 degrees, so that's also quite nice...

And I've sold the RAM and the HDD, so I have 100 euro's for 'free' also!
