Mark got the first known copy of this notebook!
Now we dont have to wait till the 19th as some distributors claimed to start getting benchmarks and test results!

New pictures!
(Page 19)
This thing looks awesome and testing and benchmarks will be up!

Yes I know its for engineering review.
Its the first pictures to actually show more detail plus benchmark some of these results.\
Edited my first post to reflect to be used for benchmarking. ( My apologies if I confuesed anyone.) -
-
Yes so it might be a month or so before consumers can start getting these. Who knows with all the delays.
However its nice to be able to see actual test results instead of on paper ! -
After taking a second look, the cpu and left gpu do not actually connect like they did in the m9750
-
Im sure there will be some customizations comming.
We will see once he starts benchmarking it. -
I'm in school right now and I will be needing a laptop soon. I can wait probably only till' the end of the month.
Has OCZ made a "real" release date yet?! -
If I recall correctly Mark over at Killer Notebooks said the 19th.
You can email or ask him, he would know better than I. -
Im sure they will be ahppy for the marketing plug however I believe Prostar offers that too for less. This is about the actual system since Mark has one in his hands.
-
I really like the way it looks. Hopefully it performs up to its paper.
-
the bottom looked like it is matte. I really cant stand glossy finishes. why couldnt they just keep the alienware style 'stealth' finish.

Mark is loading up the OS......
-
I'm a Graphic Designer and a gamer and I can never find a notebook that is both powerful enough for games and stylish enough to take to a meeting. -
It could be refinished I would assume.
-
You're right. I just hate having to pay to refinish something I'm already paying a lot of money for. It's like buy a new car and having to take it right to the body shop to get it painted so you could drive it. People do it, but it's nicer to have a nice looking model to start off with.
-
I agree. But this machine, by the looks of it will be one of those ones that is worth repainting.
-
OS is installed, He had real good things to say about the keyboard.
-
****!
Can't wait for some benchmarks. I am considering getting one for my bro. and see how it stacks up against a NP-9262 SLI.We will see if it was worth the wait
I hope it was! -
Benchmakrs up now at GoG! YES!

We've known how this thing would score in 3D Mark for weeks. I hope he benchmarks some actual games.
-
I spoke with Killer Notebooks and Mark is telling me that I should be able to get my hands on one of these by the end of September or the begining of October. I was ready to buy a new laptop so I could give the Executioner I bought from K/N to my son. The Nagamaki looks like its going to be an awesome machine. I can't wait.
Executioner
Core 2 Duo T7600 2.33Ghz
2 GB DDR2-667 RAM
17 WSXGA 1680 X 1050 Screen
GeForce 7900 GTX 512MB (upgraded to Quadro FX2500M)
100 GB 7,200 RPM Hard Drive
A/B/G+ 108Mbps Wireless -
We had an idea of what the 3d Marks were. He has had it less than 24 hours. Some nice pics and actual proven benchmarks and much more so far. The drivers dont come with it so he has to get them working and find them in order to start the gaming/real world Benchmarks. Wich will be throughout the day I assume!
-
MrBogard I like to see actual screens of the scores and not just hypothetical benchmarks...No disrespect or anything but anybody could just put numbers out there!
-
He also posted screenshots of the PCMark Vantage tests. Those numbers are very impressive to say the least.
-
Yes very impressive so far, almost equal to the 9800M GT's in Sli.
We will see how it performs in actual games? -
Yes just slightly behind the Duel 9800's
The other thing to keep in mind is nothing has been tweaked yet =) -
-
Its close either way...
I would say comparable 3dMarks would be more appropriate.
Nevermind he is talking about the ones he has Duel 9800GTM x 2
And they are comparable. -
Has there been any updates on build quality? That's prb my main reason for not pulling the trigger, as well as heating issues with dual ATIs.
-
Heat doesnt look like it is going to be an issue. and so far only praises as of build quality.

more that 2 weeks ? -
They were just released. Resellers/builders received them this week, so it will probably be about a week before people start receiving them.
-
What the hell man!
I thought they would have been out by now -
Shippin' out Monday.
-
GREAT!! i'll wait for the review on monday!! and lotsa pics plz

I'm quite pleased with K|N's tweaks and improvements on the performance of the QX9300 Mobile Quad Core. Score!

However, the Intel Robson Turbo issue is still unsettled.

Also disappointing is that the OCZ DDR3 1333 is so far not compatible with the OCZ Whitebook. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!!

All sounds good
waiting to see some Videos on youtube -
I think Mark fixed the RAM issue, my brother was telling me something about that.
Now running at 1333Mhz ...
