normally the inquirer is not the most reliable source but with the picture to back the news up it looks very promising. Wow I'd kill for another compal laptop :)

Why is the inquirer bad? As you said, the pics go pretty far to prove the rumor true. Could you be possibly be thinking of the Enquirer?

That's ingenious! Of course, hope that doesn't mean designers will get lazy and get sloppy on conserving power in the first place.

That looks great. I'd like to have fanless operation on my next notebook. Great post!

Nice now we can put more than 1 multicore CPUs in a laptop and SLI video cards and get nice powerful mobile servers.

One thing I don't like about the article or Intel for that matter is the mention of TDP saying it's rare that people ever reach TDP. I wish Intel would be like AMD in reporting TDP. AMD reports the absolute worst case scenario while Intel reports almost a 50/50 cycle duty. People who use their desktops usually reach and exceed the TDP.

LISTEN UP INTEL, PEOPLE CAN AND DO USE THEIR CHIPS AT 100% 24/7 DAMN IT! SO LIST YOUR WORST CASE TDP!
