 These seem to be scarcer than frog hair! When I do find one, they want anywhere from 60.00 to 150.00. I don't needa new one, just a little used power board. Does anyone know who or what company manufactureres Averatec computers. Have been unable to find any info on this. I am fixing this lady's laptop for her and I really need a power board! It's her Averatec, not mine...I have a Sony Vaio PCG-tr2a which by the way, I am looking for a wrecked one that I can use for parts or a reasonable 10.6" LCD screen for same. I have a Dell Studio 1735 that I got for Christmas and I like it, but my little Sony and I have been thru the mill together and I'd really like to ressurrect her. Any help is so appreciated. Thanks!

Most 3200 dc board is fixable: broken dc jack or blown fuse. The one you need is new dc jack or fuse which is plenty on Ebay and under $5. If you have a solder skill there is no problem to replace a new dc jack; otherwise you have to ask to someone know how to do the solder job.
