My cooling fan has started to make grinding noises when running, and I've cleaned it it to no avail. Sounds like the bearings are worn out. Like many others here, I bought it from MilestonePC and have no faith in being able to actually get a replacement from them. Does anyone have a recommendation on where I can get a replacement before it completely rolls over and dies?

I had a similar problem, the fan got loose as a result of its turning function, so I just tight up the screws and issue gone. But I like the oil solution, however I strongly suggets you put the right lubrificant or you may further damage the fan. Obviously the last solution is to buy another fan.
