    Here are the SPECIFICATIONS.

Notice how they name it a HEL80 in the spec sheet. The only difference I've noticed is that this laptop uses the ATI X1600 instead of the nVidia 7600. Apart from that, the build looks the same and the specs look the same as well.

Also, if this is a HEL80, is there anywhere I can buy an internal Bluetooth 2.0+EDR module for it? I'd really love not to have to use an external USB module if at all possible. I believe the HEL80 line does support internal BT, but this vendor doesn't offer it.

    Thanks! :)

I'm not sure I should trust resellerratings.com with that. Look at their rating for amazon.com. I've personally ordered hundreds of dollars of products from Amazon, and I have yet to be dissatisfied with them.

Thanks for pointing out that it's the S96J though. And I'll give powernotebooks a look too :)

I don't think the specs match the s96j or the Hel80, though the s96j is a great alternative to the hel80. This Mitac has DVI-I which the s96j does not. Further more reseller ratings may not be a perfect measure of service, but one thing is for sure.. Powernotebooks is very good and reliable. Cyberpower is risky IMO ( especially since they can't even list this notebook correctly )

That is definitely neither HEL80 or S96J. It says it's a Mitac 8258D.

yes., clearly PheonixFX has the correct link here. The previous link lists Hel80 on the page header though.. Cyberpower is obviously in error... still they can't be held responsible =P

That’s a funny disclaimer notice.. :D So they can send you a HEL 80 instead of a Mitac 8258D or vice versa and still claim no responsibility .

BTW up on close inspection of those photos I noticed that it is missing side multimedia buttons and also has somewhat different status indicators on top right side of the keyboard, I have not yet seen a rebranded HEL80 without those buttons. However overall design is almost identical to HEL 80 with fingerprint scanner and built in camera etc..

Then again they also say “We are not responsible for typo or graphical errors.” :p

in any case, the hel80 from cyberpower seems to be overpriced.
