    Need new keyboard for 6625WD

    Hi,

    Where can i get a new keyboard for my 6625WD?

    The old one doesn't work anymore :(
    A month ago some of the keys didn't work at all.

    When i pressed right shift the marker vent to the left and vise versa for left shift. And v,b,n uppercase didn't work...

    The keyboard is now in peaces (tried to fix it :D), but i think it's easier to buy a new one?

    just call/mail zepto. Its probably not so smart to buy just any keyboard even if it fits as the 6625 takes the air trough the keyboard.

    How long will it take before i get an answer? It's pretty hard to live without a keyboard. I have mailed them twice but no answer... :(

    According to a post in this thread, a new keyboard for the 6214 (older 14,1" model) costs about 6/7 euro.
    Transport costs will probably be much higher though.

    the Zepto reseller was taken away (cause of the reseller) and now everything goes trough sweden or Zepto international

    how peculiar! my 6224W (Aged 1.5 year) keyboard keys started shutting down 5 days ago.
    I'm waiting for an answer from Zepto support.

    Something is very wrong.
    It's been over two weeks now and after three emails to different people at Zepto I still haven't got any answer for a problem that should be very easily fixed (a dead keyboard key)!

    Is the company bankrupt ???

    Well they should hurry up an go bankrupt then, the crooks.
    It was the most helpful live chat I have ever had: 3 hours of wondering whether someone would finally pop up on Zepto side.
    No celebration of nativity for my keyboard keys, I fear.

    Well here we are again. After one month and no answers, i have mailed the person that contacted me about the keyboard and i sent him/her an answer that i want the keyboard and then after a few weeks again and still no answer!


    Have been trying to use live chat but been in the queue for a few hours and then it goes offline.

    Can't even remember how long i have been without the keyboard anymore and i don't even know if i will get a new one or not...

    If you can't get help from the support part of the live chat, just try one of the others (sales etc.) Or just try the danish live chat.

    Emails are indeed useless in most cases.

    I have been waiting for my laptop to get replaced for about a month now, with no info from their side. Just yesterday i got the email adres of the technician that is building my laptop and he replied within the hour. I really dont know what is going on over there, but something is wrong with the way they handle complaints through email. I would email them about it, but well...

    I've been waiting for about 3 months now for rma (6214). They never reply emails, mailed them over dozen times. 2 months ago I would atleast get some fake promises. Now they don't even bother to answer it seems. Zepto has the worst customer I ever encountered. Been on that "livechat" for over 10-15 times, always other excuses. I hope they keep their promise they made this week and I should have a laptop next week. Otherwise I'm obligated to contact a lawyer to get some movement in thiscase. Its sad but I feel like I have no other option.. :( I will post full story with chatlogs/mails if nothing happens by next week.

    A german zepto employee really helped me out today and everything seems okay now for now.
    Allthough this doesn't erase my previous bad experiences its certainly a step in the good direction :)

    I send in my 6214 at the end of november, and my new laptop should be shipped somewhere next week. Had to use the live chat for all the info and to arrange that i could upgrade my new laptop, got no emails at all. But the live chat ppl are really helpfull and friendly, if you get through the long waiting line :p.

    The german zeptop employee was a real jerk today, last week he was so friendly.
    I quote:
    Today I go on live chat to ask again if the laptop was finally send. He tells me "mom" and lets me wait for 15 mins. I ask again if he still is there. He tells me "mom" again. After waiting another 10mins-15mins I start to get a little pissed.
    He just leaves and let me waiting for half hour for nothing... Can't believe it. What kinda Customer Support is this. After waiting 12 weeks I don't deserve this sh** do I ?

    my keyboard has been dodgy from day one, just kinda live wih it. I am glad i never sent machine back now sounds hard work.

    Finally after 4 months i got it!
    After a few minutes in the live chat the guy that i chatted with sent me the "order confirmation (or something like that :D )" and i payed owner internet (40€) and a few days later a got it. :)

    Everything was very easy after all waiting in the live chat queue.
