Well, I just purchased a jfl92 whitebook, which didn't come with an optical drive. So I went ahead and purchased one separately from another site. As I was starting to assemble it tonight, I noticed that the bracket in question was not included with the laptop, and most likely will not be included with the dvd burner I ordered. I'm not sure because it hasn't arrived yet, but I have my doubts. So, what should I do? Contacting the site I bought the laptop from comes to mind first, but if that fails, what else? Laptop construction is definitely a little more tricky than a standard pc!![]()
Thanks for the help!

Welcome to NBR. You don't need a bracket or "caddy" to hold the drive in. It will fit so tight that it won't come out unless you want to slide it out.
