    ftp://ftp.zepto.dk/Firmware/Bios/6214W/

    Changelog:
    - Fixed Sony Slotin issue in XP sp2

Also the Nvidia BIOS msg disappeared so it should boot quicker now.

Changes I'd still like to see:

    - Remember states of brightness/BT/touchpad
    - A Boot/BIOS password
    - Working fan control*
    - An OSD for brightness/volume

*) After coming back from some time in standby the fan spins at full speed (confirmed problem)

*) Fan doesn't switch off even at 45°C (not confirmed yet)

Burn it to a CD (Nero: Recorder - Burn Image or something like that), then reboot with the CD inserted. Everything else should be self-explanatory.

Sorry, did forget this thread hehe.

You simply type BIOS.bat and the update shoud start.

But I suggest you wait for the next version since some owners had boot problems after updating to 112.

Morten told me that I should install the bugger to solve the dvd detection in xp2, but you say there are boot problems afterwards ?

    So what, we wait ?

Seems like it only affected very few ppl - since I've updated too in the meantime and there haven't been any problems, I guess it's save to do the upgrade.
