    ftp://ftp.zepto.dk/Znote6214W/BIOS/

    Changelog:

    - Fixed MADT 2 APIC table issue
    - Fixed Fan spin full speed after S3
    - Fixed Limit Setup Item Options

    Fan isn't spinning at full speed anymore. Too bad it starts spinning even if the book is cool enough but I really can live with that minor issue.

    I had some problems with Windows coming back from standby (if the standby period is short). To fix this issue get Micrsoft's hotfix for KB923232: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10761

    Didn't check the last changelog entry but I guess they've removed some options from the BIOS (which is kind of sad for "advanced" users).

    S* are ACPI system states:

    S0 = everything's working normal
    S1 = sleep mode (power savings etc.)
    S2 = deeper sleep mode
    S3 = suspend-to-ram aka standby
    S4 = suspend-to-disk

    No horror stories yet, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut(t):

    I left my book in S3 over night [on AC] and after waking it up this morning, what could I hear? Exactly! - The fan was again spinning at full speed.

    I don't know if I'm too fussy but usually my book and I go to S3 together so that "case" above isn't a rare scenario. If you programmers test BIOS versions please do long time tests...

    Would be nice if someone could confirm this problem. It could be my bad karma but I don't think so.
