    Hi,
I am a new HEL80 Owner from powernotebooks.com. Good people, good experience.
anyway, I got the onboard bluetooth because I am teathering my evdo phone via BT and I figured there might be some other uses.

coming from being a thinkpad fan, I have to be honest and say that I miss the red stick in the middle of the keyboard, but I will trade that for the build quality and performance...so that leads me for the need of a BT Mouse.

I actually really like the feel of the MS Miniature wireless mouse and i would like to get one but a BT one, so I dont have any of the stupid USB dongles hanging off this machine.

Does anyone have any BT mouse recommendations?
Also, being in the IT business, I actually still have a need for a serial port. Is anyone using any PC cards that offer a serial port?

    Thanks for your help
    Rod

I like my Logitech v270. I haven't changed the batteries in it yet, got it in August.

It's a little smaller than a desktop mouse, but not microscopic by any means. No dongle either. It runs off of 2 AA batteries.

    p.s. I wouldn't trade my trackpoint for anything. :p

I just wish they'd have a bluetooth mouse out that had a laser in it. Microsoft's apparently won't work with anything but their own bluetooth stack, which is retarded, and I hate MS mice anyway. So I'm still waiting on Logitech or IOGear to come out with something decent.

I also have a Logitech V270 Bluetooth mouse. Batteries seem to lasting a long time, which is nice. My only problem with it is that sometimes it seems to need waking up by moving the touchpad first, or going to Bluetooth Devices and forcing a connection. Don't know what is causing that. Otherwise it's a fine mouse. I have no other Bluetooth devices at present.

no, MS is not the only laser BT mouse

    check out the mx5000

it's a bt keyboard and mouse combo

i'm currently using it and the mouse is great (just don't use logitech drivers, let windows manage BT)

might be big for some people but i got big hands and i find it super comfortable

it has internal rechargeable batteries and a charger station. a single charge lasts about a week, depends on usage and if you turn it off

Can I get just the mouse? If not, then the MS mouse is still the only laser, Bluetooth mouse available. I don't want a Bluetooth keyboard.
