    That is correct, an ATA hard drive will not work in the HEL80.

    I put in the 100 gig Hitachi 7200 drive from newegg and i am not unhappy at all. It is the tiniest bit louder than the old 40 gig i had in there and it is only like 2 degrees warmer then the old one aswell. Measurements were taken from a program that reads hard drive internal thermal sensors. i think i payed like 115 with free shipping at the time.
