Assuming that I have the hard drive and ram upgraded and the bluetooth added, how long until the laptop would ship? also, this would void Asus's 2 yr warranty correct?

As far as I know, there isn't a larger capacity battery option for the MX. The Asus A8 series, upon which the prior and current MX is based, has the battery installed underneath. So there's no room to build a bigger extended capacity battery like other designs. There was some discussion on the Asus boards that someone had heard Asus might be working on a higher capacity battery that is the same size as the current one, but I've not heard anything official yet..

The GPU, and the DVI out. Truth be told, I would not have bought the SX at all. For me it was down to the UX and the MX. And if only for the GPU and to a lesser degree, the DVI out, that I went for the MX..
