Well I tested them and just like the 169.xx series of drivers they are rather fast, but stutter like mad and after minutes it makes games unplayable. :/

So absolutely no change for me.

I installed the Vista 32bit driver, and I am NOT impressed :(
80% of the times I boot up the machine, I won't even get to see the Vista logo, it just goes black screen, and doesn't move beyond it.
Have to hold down the power button, to reboot the machine numerous times until it randomly manages to get into windows.
I am positive this happened after I installed the driver, changed nothing in the config of the machine except for the driver.
Haven't tested it out in games yet though, cause so far I've been preoccupied with trying to figure out what's wrong!

    :(

    Damn....

I'll test them after work. WoW weekend. Hope they work fine for me. :(

    Are they OCable?

Can a changelog for the driver be found anywhere?

Everything seems okay at the moment with this driver. I was running 171.16 before and again had no problems (I would prefer to stick to this driver as it is WHQL signed!!) , I'll spend some more time playing games before I make up my mind completely though.

I'm getting rid of this driver.
It does nothing good for me, no fixes.
And I still have the monitor turning black on boot, which has been confirmed by other people, even with the xp driver aswell...

I installed and played Crysis with these, and they performed rather bad in comparison to my previous 169.28.
In fact they made the game stuffer, in a way that seems equal to what other users are reporting, as I haven't had any issues like that before

For one... I have to say that these drivers work very well for me in WoW. Have been playing for 5 hours now. And it's working great. :D

Don't know about Crysis, but all of a sudden I'm getting good results with World in Conflict. I installed nvtray and had a play with the settings. Apart from nvtray being blocked at start up everything is good. seems to be on par with my previous best drivers (169.09).

Unless I read it wrong , thought you were getting poor performance in wic in that pdf file you attached.

No you didn't get it wrong. Some how I can now get the same performance with this driver as I did with the 171.16's. Don't know why. I've not done anything different, except put nvtray in and made sure the pre rendered frames was set to 4(you can't do this with nvidia's control panel in this driver but can in the 171.16). Sorry for any confusion I may of caused. Moral of the story.....I must test fully before critiscising ny new drivers.

The performance by itself is fine with these drivers, but they do absolutely nothing to the stuttering issue, and im going crazy over this... it just cant be right that you can fool a customer SO much and then just dont care when thousands of people cant use their products they payed more than most can affort for. And yes.. im talking about Nvidia! suckers... If ATI had a laptop gpu that could run decent in a 14" laptop and didnt require atleast 17" I would change in an instant! im sick of this...

    2 cents,

I don't play too many games, mostly photo-editing, but the new drivers
seem to have slightly improved vista's snappy-ness. Could be my
    imagination though.

I'm only playing the ol' HalfLife2 (via orange box) and TeamFortress2 at
the moment. Played them both about 2 hours a piece, no problems.

So thus far, the new drivers have actually improved my system it would
    seem. Hope this helps!

    No tweaks. :)

And I must say these are the best drivers yet! I'm playing WoW with highest but no AA. And it's really smooth! OFC I get fps drop in like AV when we are alot och ppl fighting. But no stutter so it becomes unplayable! :D

And the bug is gone too! Always at 60fps in WoW except those performance-killing-times with alot of ppl.

Sad to hear that it didn't do the job for you thomas. :(

(btw, I've always been running WoW in XP SP2 mode)
