Zepto's drivers should be bug-free so are there to fall back on when you think you have a problem.

There could well be something that is newer and faster but maybe more prone to crashing.

    Exactly.
You can install the latest drivers if you want (which by the way are 165.01) but there have been reports on lack of stability with 163.44 drivers (corrupted desktops and errors after installation ... with 8600M GT).

When the Zepto crew tells you that you can use these drivers, it means they checked the drivers function correctly on the machines.

165.01 aren't the latest. 163.69 are and they're way better than 163.44 (I know, I'm beside the point of the topic).
Still, I'm curious in the differences between zepto's inf and laptopvideo2go inf. Too bad there's no Zepto XP32bit version.

As mugiware said, 165.01 aren't the latest (not made by nvidia, but a laptop manufacturer). Nvidia have just released a new beta driver 163.71. The release notes only lists minor fixes... I've yet to try them

These drivers are WHQL certified and are released by Nvidia for the ODM espceially for these notebooks and for the 8600M GT, where as Laptopvide2go's drivers are standard desktop drivers modded for the mobilecards.

The 163.69 Vista driver is also WHQL.
They can be found on LTV2Go; 32 bit and 64 bit.
