Hey everyone, haven't been on these forums in a while :(

My buddy from way back in high school was in need of a new laptop (His Thinkpad T23 died on him). He had a hard time choosing between the P1 UX and MX. That's not going to be able to run Vista though...

Why wouldn't it run Vista? Personally, I've found XP to be great, and the only time I've heard someone sound excited about Vista was when he said it will "look good." I'm not sure I'm interested in a new Windows that takes more out of an already-limited computer (and, by that, I mean any laptop).

FYI. In talking to Ivan about my upcoming UX purchase, he told me that they're waiting to release the new unit until March since they're holding off for the Dual Core chipset. I really need an ultraportable to bring with me back and forth from work to class, but i may just have to wait until March when the SX comes out...

Darn, I guess I will be waiting until March too. I was going to go with a UX or MX, but it would be more prudent to wait.
