The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just noticed on Portable One's web site that there are now links to the upcoming FX, SX, and WX models. They currently link to a blank page, but do seem to confirm the impending introduction of these models. I should be calling them today and I'll see if I can't get more info.

    Those links have been there for a while. It would be great if someone from P1 would update the forum on there plans to introduce new models. I'm thinking of buying asus w3j, but I use my laptop outside a lot and think P1's transreflective screen might be much better outside. I would really like to know what models they are going to base any new P1's on and when they might be available.

    Well, I spoke with them today and all this particular rep would say is "They'll be up there next month." Guess I can't blame him seeing as how Ivan has already stated that they've been asked to keep it on the QT.
