At the CES show Microsoft announced a mini pc media center that will run their software and is being made by Averatec and AMD. It is said to be smaller than a DVD player. Any comments?

Yeah, I saw it. It's pretty cool actually, I was surprised to see their name on it. Let me see if I have a picture for you...

Hey, I was surprised to see their name on it as well. No offense, but they seem to me to only be produced low priced but low quality machines, though I do like the pearl white case and the color lids on their 1000 and 4000 series.

rahulnirmal, I agree with you about Avertec's poor quatlity. On the upside, I check the maroon lid on my 1000 series notebook and know when it is time to dust.

If I actually used it, I would lose that important indicator :)
