Hello. I'll make it short: my IFL90 doesn't charge. My old battery died a while ago so I trashed it and have been using the laptop battery less for a while. I've just received a new battery and the laptop doesn't want to charge it: If I install the battery, the laptop work on battery only but doesn't charge. The power led is blinking but there is nothing in the manual about that(actually there is nothing about troubleshooting in the manual  ). To use the battery I have to turn the laptop on without it and then put the battery in while it's booting otherwise it won't turn on at all.... This is annoying.

    hmmm...

Sounds like a bad chip in the battery.. I'd see if the ebay folks would send you another. Unlikely I know, but it's happened to me before with one of the chinese vendors. You could ask anyway.

Barring that, if you're up for a little hacking, you could open up the case of the new battery, pull the cells, and put them in the housing of the old one. Or vice versa. It's ugly, but probably the best bet if the return to seller doesn't work..
