New computer, Zepto Vista CD?

Had a 6625WD for a few years now, it has done its time, and it is time to buy a new computer.

So my question is, does the Vista 32bit CD that I bought with the 6625WD, work on other computers too?

I was pondering about the possibility of it having some sort of "thing" going on, so that it's only possible to install it on a Zepto. Might be a stupid question, might not. In any case, thanks for the help, and sorry.

 

It is possible sometimes to use the CD to install another computer. You would just have to try it and see. You may not use it on another computer using the same license as the Zepto.

 

So it does seem. Found out myself some more about the subject after finding the right keywords to Google.

Only got a retail Xp and the Zepto OEM Vista. Would be a real shame to use Xp when I got a 5870 in my new computer.

Guess I'll try with the Vista and see if I can "transfer" the right to the new computer. (Read a few things about this when Googling for answers.) As I do not use the Vista on any machine at the moment, or for a year or so back for the matter. Might buy a new license if nothing else.

Ofcourse you can install it, the only question if it the product key would work.. I'd say yes.
