I already have one Averatec 4265 and thinking to get another one
for my brother, however, I check Staple, amazon, averatec.com, I
can not find any place sell the Averatec 4265, what's wrong with
Averatec? I even can not buy one from Averatec website. Is anyone
know where I can buy Averatec 4265 right now?? Thanks.

I was told by staples that they are discontinued for a newer model. Don't know if its true or not but I did read something about a 4270.

Whats the deal with the 4270? Is it much better than the 4265? Because I may end up returning mine if the 4270 is worth it.

The only difference between 4265 and 4270 is speed of CPU, you can
find more info on averatec website. I just can not believe that 4265 is
discontinue from the market, or it's temporary situation? I still can find
a lot of 3000 series on ebay or any online store and there is no reason
to stop 4000 series right now. Please let me know where can buy 4265
    if you know it, thanks.

I assume this is due to Intel discontinuing the 1.6ghz Pentium M, as the 4270 now has a 1.7ghz Pentium M.

I'll sell you mine. My wife got a Sony S480 from work so we really don't need the 4265. It's in brand new condition and is only 30 days old.
