I am so grateful for the help and informaton I have received via this forum. I don't mind telling you, though, that my poor little brain is exhausted from all the configuring and reconfiguring with one vendor after another. Feels wonderful to have it all over and done with.

Yup I just ordered mine last week from PowerNotebooks.com ...I could'nt be happier with the outstanding service from them and I can't wait for that brown box to arrive. Plus this is my first post here.

Hi, Wil. Yes, they really are lovely people there. What attracted you to this computer?

Well..I was going to wait on the S96J, but then I found the HEL 80 and realized that it hands down had a better appearance and a better price and warranty from PowerNotebooks.com . Then what sealed the deal was the unheard of 3 year warrenty at that price with lifetime tech support(with people that speak English). I was looking for a 15.4 with good gaming performance and I was also seriously considering (dont laugh) the Asus Z81SP before I realized that I could use the underside of it as a George Forman Grill. I will be using it for "a college laptop" but I will also want to install a few games like Hitman: Blood Money, Rome: Total War, and Quake 4 and it is nice knowing I won't have to sacifice my love of PC gaming when I head off to school in Aug. I have been searching around all summer for a laptop and it is like you said Gingercat, a nice relief finally to of made a decision, and a good one at that with a great, friendly and reputable company.

FSB
