Hello, in win 7 64bit is a unknown device in hardware mangment.
What device is this, everything is installed fine.
Also the wlan signal strenght is very low, thought it depends on only two wires who connected to the fu**in railink draft n card.
There are 4 wires in the case and only number 2 and 3 connected, what the others for?
    thanks.

The missing driver is usually a chipset driver, but could be... card reader, touchpad, or blue tooth... these are the most common driver problem people have issues with. I am assuming all the basics are already there, network, audio, etc.

The wireless card itself, is it a 2 or 3 wire card? If it is just a 2 wire card, connect the White "1" wire and the Black "3" wire.

If you are unsure take a picture for me and email it to me at [email protected] and I will take a look and let you know.

All things are installed, don't know what it is. The chipset was the first thing i installed.
It's the Notebook from my roommate. The Wlan strenght is very, veryvery bad compared to mine 6324w with the atheros 5008 draft n card and 3 wires.
We have a brand new linksys draft n router.
In the Nox NB there are 4 wires, one black under the pci card(not marked and don't connected), the 3 wires with 1-3 marked.
connected are wire 2 and 3.
He want's the same performace than me, so thought to buy a intel draft n card with 3 connectors.
Very bad to have a brand new NB with such bad wlan signal....

Ok, so it is not the chipset, did you try any of the other things I suggested?

Right... the black wire underneath is not used.

You do not need a new card, just disconnect the #2 wire and connect the #1 wire... that should fix the problem.

Could it be the Zepto mobile utilities? In win 7, just install it without OSD.

For the wireless card, you should connect wires numbered 1 and 2 into the ralink card. wire 3 is very short but 1 and 2 will give you the best coverage, if you can observe the card, there is also ant1 and ant2. Just connect them accordingly.

GotBoost, try googling a small and free program called Unknown Device Identifier or the like, there are many varieties. If you're lucky they'll show you what the unknown device is.

It is the driver for Zepto Mobile Utilities that is missing. The OSD itself isn't working, but the drivers work just fine :)
Saw the same thing on my friends Nox A15 when we tried out Windows 7 on it :)
