Now that these cards are starting to show up in the Sager's and since they are MXMIII I am guessing these cards should also fit and work in the OCZ 17 inch Whitebooks ?? I am also guessing that these should also work and fit in SLI configuration on these laptops / notebooks ??

Arima MXM is somewhat special since the dual setup will proably only work in ATI Crossfire no SLI.
maybe the master card slot could work.... but only a single card.... thats if you the motherboard BIOS will support it. -
8800M GTX IS compatible with OCZ whitebook and some of them were sold with a single 8800M GTX. no SLI support thought, maybe with some mods? there are some posts here regarding that. I think a single card will work but no one knowns for sure until some one tries it...

The ATI Crossfire in the OCZ laptop is there a cable that connects the 2 HD3870 cards or is it via the motherboard ??
-
cable and no the arima will not be supporting sli only crossfire.

The problem is the Whitebook still trumps every single card solution out there even with the 4870/GTX280M. It's too powerful for its own good.
But seriously, the only viable upgrade is the 4870 Xfire (or even possibly 4860).
Heck, a 4850 Xfire solution would be ok. -
the Whitebook has 1 hybrid slot and one ATI slot( not sure what to call it ) so no mods i can think of shy of changing the slots will get it to work with SLI

Anyone selling their OCZ???
thanks
Nvidia 260m / 280m GTX
