OCZ 17" whitebook qx9300 with RAID 0 120gb SSD ocz

He all, I want to share some of the things i have done with my white book.

Currently its a 17" qx9300 4gb 1333 ram CROSSFIRE and only 1 ocz 120gb ssd. (waiting for another two to come in, they will go raid 0 and the one i have now will go into my eee 1000he netbook)

I have soon to be here 2 ssd ocz 120gb, ill post an update then.

but for now, the drive is fast, xp is in 14seconds,

I have since removed XP and now running vista ultimate (48seconds.)

- disable the page file
- disable auto defraging
- disable hibernateing feture

any other things to do so my ssd does not take a crap on me from over use ?

How sould i setup the raid in bios? what settings sould i use in bios for raid 0 setup (what strip size??)

also, what offset should i use with DISKPART (not diskpar).

then when formating this raid 0 drive what allocation unit size sould i use ?

I want to put two OCZ vertext into my ocz white book. i will use WHS to restore a copy of XP (not vista or windows 7, not supported by my school )

17" white book laptop from OCZ
qx9300 quad core cpu 12mb cache
4gb ocz ram 1333mhz
2 x 3870 videocard's (or crossfire 3870)
2 x vertex ocz 120gb raid 0

this will be my laptop for game's and HD movies (1080p 1200p).

Im studing computer enginering, and we need to bring our own laptop.

so ill be useing it for school every day.

I have an existing setup of windows xp that i have backed up on my Windows Home Server,

so after you give me some info: BIOS RAID 0 settting, diskpart offset, format alocation size.

then i will just use the WHS bootup cd to resore the windows xp image i have onto the partition that you help me setup.
