My OCZ whitebook just came in today, I ordered mine without any OS, but I received one wifi disk driver and I'm guessing a motherboard driver disk (blank).

When it starts up I get a "media test failure". Pressing delete does not bring me up to BIOS either.

I have tried the blank disk it came with
    A windows XP disk
    A vista disk

your going to need to get into the bios to boot from cd...

    could be:
    delete
    esc
    f1
    f2
    f10
    to invoke the bios

F2 will bring you into the bios, once in there check the boot order of the devices.

F2 will get you in, you have to hit it very quickly or you will miss the bios prompt.

    done that, did not work.

edit: I got my windows xp to load up. When XP boots up (first time) I get a blue screen every time now.

Okay now the laptop will not even turn on now, start button simply flashes when pressed. The computer is plugged into the charger..

Media Test Failure is probably due to having network booting enabled in BIOS. I get that message when my BIOS defaults (this is an M9750). I would say disable it in the BIOS, but it seems that you have a new issue. Try reseating the memory if that doesn't void whatever warranty you have.

try holding the button down for 4 to 8 seconds to see if it resets.

update: I was able to install vista on it, but XP always results in a bluescreen. The ocz drivers disk that was included is for 64 bit...

The laptop wouldn't start because its overheated. Works now though

I see what they mean now when they say that XP is not supported by this system...

Weird that the system would do that regardless...

XP can be installed but is not currently supported by OCZ. You have to load the RAID driver during XP setup and you will not get the bluescreen crash.

    NO

The notebook by default is in AHCI mode and cannot be changed to IDE mode, XP cannot use the hard disk in this mode unless you load the intel raid driver during XP setup. Once you load the driver you can install XP on a single disk.

Thanks for the help, but where can I get these RAID drivers? Is it a generic for intel or specific for models?

I may be wrong, but aren't RAID drivers on the XP cd? (havent done this in a LONG time) I think I remember seeing it ask if you wanted to setup raid before all the xp stuff gets loaded when you boot from disk
