Can anyone comment if the NC200 will be a good match for the whitebook? I ask because it seems that the holes for the fan only extend to the middle area of the cooler, so if the hottest parts are at the back of the laptop, would it not be cooled?

I just want to make sure the NC200 will do a good job in helping me cool my whitebook before I purchase one. Or should I just go for the nzxt, which seems to have more vents/holes in the mid-upper area of the cooler.

    Thanks

I would go for the CRYO NZXT cooler, it has a very large vent area for really good ventilation and cooling+ the 3 120mm fans do a excellent job, they push out a a lot of air. It's a little on the big and pricier side for laptop cooler but well worth the money.
BUT, I use mine on a NP-9262 and the fans on the bottom line up really good with my system.
It also put's a very good angle on a laptop for typing and as a bonus it adds extra USB ports.
I'm note sure about where the vents for the OCZ line up or placed, but with the CRYO cooler it covers so much area it should be very good for any laptop.

Thanks for the reply IKAS. I'm also curious if a cooler will prevent my laptop's fans from reving up every few minutes or so, while on idle/internet surfing? It just sounds a bit annoying.

I also need to find a laptop cooler for the OCZ. Do I need to find a specific one for the fans on the OCZ?

I use the NZXT Cryo for my M9750 and will use it for my Whitebook. I think it works better than the NC2000 (I had one before). The Cryo comes with three 120mm fans and had cooled my GPU and CPU to about 4 degrees down from without it. I recently swapped out the original fans with three Aerocool turbine 2000 fans (89.3 cfm each) and got temps down to almost 8 degrees down from the original.
