ODM of laptops on alibaba

Hello!

I want a laptop with the following characteristics:
1. 15.6 screen size
2. Latest Intel Core i7 6 cores
3. Dedicated GPU
4. Full metal body, thickness is 25mm or less.

But they can install only processors from Skylake-U and Kabylake-U families(most of them launched 2 or more years ago).

I don't understand why there is no option to install latest processors...

So I want to know ODM of this laptops and try to find reseller not from alibaba.

"They" do not "install" latest processors because they are solderied to the motherboard. And there are no ULV models with 6 cores. All these cheap no name brand ultrabooks only have ULV or low end components.

There are laptops that fit your desires from HP, Asus, Gygabyte, and MSI.

If take a look on other laptop sellers then it happens they provide almost the same: the same body, 6th/7th Core i7.

Do they really make design by themself?
Or is there a signle ODM?

Ok, there is no ULV models with six core.
But there is 8th gen ULV with 4 core. These models are lso not available to purchase.
In private messages they said me they have no plans to provide it at the moment.

Took a look at them.
Gigabyte Aero 15X: too powerfull graphics(for me better 1050 series), black color, groove on the side.
MSI laptops with six cores and GeForce 1050 are not slim design.
ASUS ZenBook Pro 15 UX550: no option to add RAM up to 32Gb, no simple audio(something tricky), blue color.
HP ZBook Studio Laptop: may be ok but is not available in the store, tricky audio.
Xiaomi has no six core models.

Any reason the Dell XPS 15 is not a contender? Very slim and sleek MUCH better looking and feeling in person too (compared to web pics). Only not aluminum uni-body, but the carbon fiber + fit and finish is top of the line (both in looks and feel)

Those look like they could have been built in the Foxcon Apple plant. The 15 silver versions will never get GTX nvidia chips unfortunately. Doesn't have the cooling capacity or room at 15mm.

You may want to look into the HP Zbook X360 more. I think it is more than OK
it checks all the boxes with the added bonus of the 360 hinge and 600 NIT dream-color screen. It will be available late this month. The Quadro P1000 GPU is in between GTX 1050 and GTX 1050ti in power

 

I forgot about the lenovo Yoga Y730. It checks most of the boxes:
Full silver aluminium
GTX 1050
15"
17.5 mm
8th gen i7 (only negative is it is ULV 4 core)

At the moment in my country only MSI 6 core notebooks are present. That's why I consider purchasing a custom laptop.
Also purchasing custom laptop can save money: some taxes can be avoided.
