    no friend, it the same thing except OEM version of the software is cheaper because its meant to be installed on new PCs thats all

    okay so it's just the default drivers and software delivered with the notebook.

    Like smart battery, smart meeting and others.

    And you actually get more on most OEM installs, whether you want it or not!

    Yep i bought an OEM version 32Bits Vista Home Premium and installed it.
    Downloaded the OEM install kit to transfer my Vista MS OEM to Compal installed OEM.

    Well, whoever sold you the laptop should provide a cd/dvd with all the drivers, you wont get those drivers if you just buy an OEM or any version of the OS

    Yep the shop provided me with driver CD/Software CD and an extra TV-LifeView Cd.
    Also Nero OEM, and some test DVD for Office.
    Even got the org Intel Driver DVD, al drivers are on this disc.
