so, what is it does it have problems, does it perform well, and is it easy to ubgrade.

It's good, but there is an unresolved issue with the QX9300.
You could do a copper mod and/or provide holes in the bottom of the case.
Most people think the problem is overheating of the northbridge that casues stuttering. This mainly happens to me when I'm gaming.
Very easy to upgrade, performs good (with the exception of the stutterring).
Also OCZ/Arima/Flextronics/ATI are very lax in the support dept. No new BIOS, drivers, etc. -
