Does anyone know how to get messages on screen when you activate a Fn-function?

It's pretty annoying that there's no indication whatsoever if I turn off the touchpad, or when I adjust the volume, or when I use the media keys, or when........ (etc)

Could it be that I forgot to install something?

    Welcome to the forums.

It might be helpful to mention which system you are talking about. As far as I know, the Fn-functions are usually not linked to an on-screen display though.

    Oh yeah I forgot. I have a Znote 6015WD.

I had an Acer TM once, and when you fiddled with the volume and brightness, there was an green indicator bar on screen. It's quite useful I think.

Actually, now that you mention it. I think my old Dell Inspiron had something like that. I don't think it's a universal thing though. I know my HEL80 (Znote 2425W) doesn't do it.

But you may be lucky and find some sort of application or a way to enable it if the capability is there. Good luck.
