    Opinions on QUANTA Notebooks?

    ISTNC sell Quanta notebooks custon configured.

    They are very helpfull, responsive, and proofessional to talk to.

    They sell many other brands including Asus.

    The person I spoke to seems very high on the Quanta line as far as being high quality and high performance units.

    I just never hear of them.

    Anyone care to add their thoughts on this please.

    Quanta is the ODM for a lot of manufacturers. Very high quality, some of the best build quality out there. I'd say they're at the level of Asus.

    Quanta makes excellent notebooks. You won't find a better reseller for Asus and Quanta notebooks than ISTNC. I bought two Asus notebooks from them. Rick, the owner of ISTNC, is the best when it comes to customer service and knowledge of his products. I give my highest recommendation to ISTNC.

    Quanta is THE largest notebook manufacturer in the world. it seems that they've made notebooks for every name brand almost! I've usually heard good things about the quality of the products. HOWEVER, I've also heard one thing that may be of importance. it seems like them, along with Uniwill, do not make spares after a model line has ceased production. So any spares will be based upon how much extra stock a reseller has. This is from the guy at DL in NBD forum. there's also not too many resellers of them as well. So far, I've just seen ISTNC and Powernotebooks. Both are good places.
