I'm still looking, think I am worse then a woman window shopping ;)
Anyway I have just been told about these guys. Has anyone had one of these puppies? http://www.falcon-nw.com/fragbook2.asp I had a quick look to see if there was any feed back on these but couldn't see anything. So if you could either point me in the right direction for the info or let me know, I would be most greatful.

    thanks.

I've heard really good commentary about Falcon Northwest, there was a poster here not too long ago talking about them.

You sure can get a killer machine from them, but the price is quite hefty. ;)

So I have noticed, some very sweet paint jobs on them as well, makes me drool even, and that's hard to do.
I had a look see at alienware, they seemed like great systems, but from the reviews I've read they are hit and miss. Just get harder and harder finding the right laptop lol... for it seems I can now up my buget, I never have this problem about picking the ladies I like, even though some cost me more then a arm and a leg.. lol..

Do not purchase Alienware please. I went through 5 months of hell with my laptop and ended up buying a Widow Sting 917 (was a great move). Falcon is good if you have the money, they use quality and have wonderful paint/artwork. Sager is also good, cheaper than Widow, but Widow does have amazing customer support. Widow has been pretty amazing with their customer support/quailty components, if you build it or ask for it, it will come. I have heard good things about Sager as well.

It was me who posted about Falcon. They are a great company but definetly expensive! In my opinion they are the best of the high end makers. I'm hoping to pick one of them up if I can somehow afford one in about 1-2yrs, though with my budget I'll probably have to go with an xps from dell. If you can afford one and don't mind the pricing I'd go for one in a hearbeat! :)

Alienware is an ok company. I like their desktops.

I will say this about Falcon Northwest:

They are hella great with tech support. I bought a Mach V (yeah, not a notebook...yet) from them waaaay back when and it had a problem when I got it. I called them up and they worked very well with me on it, and when the problem was isolated, they sent out replacement parts 100% free, next day air. Freakin' spectacular.

I'm in the market for a notebook, and I'm seriously considering them. Just gotta decide if i want to pay the extra skrill for the system, or just buy the whitebook and build it on my own...such a hard decision

Anyways, i say if you got money to blow, blow it on a falcon.

EDIT: Oh yeah, i'm brand new =)
