5 ==> 1st fps is walking in the jungle/ 2nd fps is during fights
6 ==> Crysis is tested at DX9 and DX10 and gives the same framerates.
That's because DX10 is only showable at 'very high' and I've tested it at medium!
7 ==> X = Isn't benched, because I used that drivers months ago.

Offcourse this table will be updated with every benchmark/ test that I have!!

Is 475/950/400 the default clock?
-
-
What does 0fps mean? That the game wouldn't run?
-
-
Great job doing this, it will for sure help people choose drivers.
Well, my question is: what is sleep cog? I searched for it but dident find any results. -
Hibernate/ stand-bye or something else...
When you close the laptop he is going to 'sleep'
and when you are opening it, the screens pops on again...
It's the fourth option you have when selecting 'shut down' Vista..
-
yep your right its standby / sleep
also thx for the post -
-
Thanks for this!
Could you also post your max temperatures? -
My maximum temperature are highlights when 3D Marking:
At the moment I couldn't get 169.01 and 169.04 installed on my Zepto :-s
Probably I have to change the .inf or something like that (Tried that but didn't work)
and I'm in my exams, so I have to learn! I will update my first post probably this weekend -
Ok, to post more bout the card (8600GT)
heres my max values for both VC and CPU
oh and I have 163.75
edit: my bad it wasnt OCd at allAttached Files:

Interesting that the temps do not seem to change much from stock to oc.
You will probably need to update your drivers to OC sprint, the 169.01 allow it I think. -
Just a little note:
The Core temperature drops from 95C tot about 65C in 2,5 minute, quite nice! -
Yep, its quite interesting in fact that the temp goes up by only 2 degrees tough its in fact pretty well OCd
but 2,5 min and 30 degrees isnt that fast, look at the processor:
-
I wish i could undervolt my cpu to keep temps lower but notebook hardware control doesnt have the voltage options for me..it has the voltage tab but all the multipliers are empty..no values
-
-
btw, I have a quite low idling temp right now, 35.5 degrees(answer is: its cold as damn where Im right now (bout 15C :twitcy
-
thanks sprint, I will add you as soon as I have the time, when I do il PM you with the address I used to add you so you dont get confused about who the hell's adding you
thx again -

Cool! It's getting higher!

Im gonna test for my score at the same values as you but with 169.13 and maxed out. Ill report back as soon as I get my computer virus-scanned

The 272 points extra are because I've got a T7500 and you the T7100!
Why don't try 169.17
(my 3D Mark Score was 132 points higher with .17 than with .13)Last edited by a moderator: May 8, 2015 -
Might do that later, but not today
-
Your work is being tracked here
Can you run a 3dMark05 please? -
This thread inspired me to try overclocking some also
One thing I noticed is it seems I got a really good core, but bad memory.. I managed to push the core up to nearly 700 before i got artifacts. At 650 it is perfectly stable. However, my memory gives artifacts already at 480!! Running 650/450 COD4 for an hour resulted in 76C as max temp on the GPU. Gonna run a 3dmark06 also to see how well it does.
EDIT: Using 169.13 (gonna test 169.17 later) and 650/450 I got 4018 in 3dmark06, with a T7300.
EDIT2: Hmm, now I'm getting very unsure. I just downloaded ATItool and that reports me only having 600/450, while rivatuner is saying 650/450 :?
EDIT3: Rivatuner was wrong, it was actually 600/450 before. Anyway, I downloaded 169.17 and tried with maximum overclock possible before artifacts came, 636/475. 4200 3dmark06 points! -
I have tested the 169.17 drivers also with 3D Mark '05:
3D Mark '05: 1024x768 --> 475MHz/ 950MHz/ 400MHz --> 6367
3D Mark '05: 1024x768 --> 600MHz/ 1200MHz/ 475MHz --> 7712
According: here you can get this scores with a GO8600M GT'je: '06: 3269 & '05: 5938
And I get that easily -
CLB-NL
Do you play any games at all, longer than 15 minutes ? or do you just test and rate drivers based on 3dmark scores and benchmark runs in crysis?
Id like you to try out the older 163.71 (or 163.71 beta), just for the test purpose, and tell me what you think. They score pretty fine, a bit under the newest 169.XX but my experience is that after 30mins of gaming these drivers gets on top of every new driver. sad enough... id like it the other way around.
I too get superb scores with 169.17 in 3dmark. -
Yes I play games longer than 15 minutes ;-)
At the moment I haven't got the Crysis demo anymore on my HD,
so the new drivers aren't tested with that demo! At the moment
I was testing the Crysis demo was very 'hot' so that's why I picked that game!
And I'm not gonna try that 163.71'er... because I don't see any positive on it.
The benches I post here are just because I like that..
But my beautiful Zepto is not a testing machine for all NBR-users -

I think it will allways higher, new drivers are allways more optimized or have new, faster functions

Just my opinion...
