So folks, seems that Zepto has finally put an option to get 667 MHz memory with new laptops instead of just 800 MHz. :)

    That's the situation in UK's and Finland's pages, uk.zepto.com and fi.zepto.com

    Cheers,

Why would you downgrade from 800mhz to 667mhz memory?

Unless you wanted to save some money.

battery life maybe. probably also because 800mhz memory won't be used to its potential in current laptops

It's been quite a talk about the forcing of getting PC 6400 with new models. There just hasn't been a possibility to choose your RAM, except for the amount of it.
