    Hi everyone,

I really need some help - I was using a X-fi external PCMCIA card with my 3415W last night and after I'd used it I went to replace it with the usual dummy plastic card. The only problem was that I put the card in upside down - now I can't get it out!

At the moment, I can't get it any further than about an inch (3cm ish) out of the laptop, with the smaller part jammed inside...

Is there anyway of getting this out?!?

"Smaller part inside" Is that a Express card?

I got a express card slot in mine. If they are anything alike, this might help. Inside the slot I can see approx 2-3 cm in there is a thin metal flap pointing inward on the topside to the right.

You could try to slide in something thin on top of the card (a businesscard or some thin piece of plastic) as far as you can (presumably 2-3 cm where the problem is). Press the express card and the thin card together and gently push both a little bit further in, and then try to slide the express card out beneath the thin card.
