I will be using the laptop mainly for Surfing, watching movies and moderate gaming (New games as well).......

That's good.

It looks good to me too. You might find 80 gigs storage is a little bit small, if you decide to store media on there with your games.
-
hmmm....Is there a real performance difference between 5400 RPM drive and 7200 RPM drive? I see 7K2 drives are bit expensive.......
-
Got my 200gb 7k2 today, vista boots faster, browsing my files is faster launching softwares is faster... Pretty much anything requiring reading and writing on the HD is faster, and it's more silent than my 60gb 5k4....
-
^^ Did you buy a internal or external hard disk?
-
Also can somebody tell me how is the customer support for avadirect.com?
-
Your setup, looks good...I would recommend to go for a larger 5400rpm rather than a small 7200rpm though, larger drives have higher density which makes them faster...you won't notice a great difference between a 160GB 5400rpm and the one you selected (maybe it'll be even faster) and you will get twice the capacity.
About reseller, they look pretty good (high rating), not many acumulated reviews though.
