Earlier today I ordered a factory refurb CT14-A0 on the ebay daily deal and naturally I have a couple of questions.

First is if anyone has found a way to create restore media (DVDs or thumb drive) from the factory restore partition, or alternatively, which Windows 7 DVD can be used to reinstall with the included activation key?

Second question is whether Office Starter of MS Works is included (I've seen it listed both ways).

Third is how long the battery lasts before it needs replacing. Prior to becoming disabled a few years ago I was a laptop tech, but this model doesn't look particularly easy to service, so I'm considering the geeksquad warranty which includes one free battery replacement. I could go with squaretrade for a lot cheaper, but they don't offer the free battery.

    Thanks,
    Dan
