When I open PowerProducer, It only shows me the option to record as VCD. Why can't I see DVD stuff?

    Thanks folks!

Because you don't use PowerProducer to save to a Data DVD. The version Averatec included does not allow burning of Video DVDs. The CDS product will burn data, not video, unless you purchase the upgraded version.

    Dangit!

Thank you very much for the answer, though! You saved me a lot of time and frustration!

Now I wonder if there is a freeware dvd video software out there.

I found DVDStyler on sourceforge.net, which is free. I'm about to try it out.
