    Hello,

Does anyone here own a ProStar laptop? I read an article in MobilePC and was wondering if anyone here has an opinion on them. I'm still searching for a great laptop so any other suggestions will work! I want something that isn't too heavy, 15" or 15.4"wide screen, and something that can handle graphics and math programs like Maple and MathCAD as well as VMWare and DameWare and my Network Simulator.

    Thanks

I have a 5600P. All I can tell you is - its a Toshiba wanna-be and it's a good thing to take the extended warranty package. I'm still using it, sort of, since it is a very moody device. At least thats my experience under Win XP Pro. I plan on replacing a few things on it like the DVD and HDD before jumping into the laptop market again.

    Jugghead.
