    Hello
I have a Znote 6224W. I've installed all drivers on my Vista 32bit, but when I plugged my camrecorder to computer via firewire cabel the computer could not detect my camrecorder.
How can I fix this problem?
    Thanks

Check your Firewire port is OK. It is under IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controllers.

See this Panasonic info about Vista compatibility. There appears to be an update for MotionDV Studio. Is that the software used to load files from the camera?

In fact when I plug in the camrecorder to computer via firewire cabel nothing happen. I have installed all driver for vista 32. I have no problem when I transfer my film to computer via USB.

I am merging your new thread with your previous thread about the same problem. Have you investigated the previous suggestions?

How are you trying to see the camera and do the downloading?

This page suggests that you can import the video into your movie making program when that video when the camcorder is in Play/Edit mode.

can you see it in Device manager? Do you get a "Unknown device" when you plug it in?

So is it an unknown device in Device Manager when you plug the camera in or does Device manager tell you the camera details?

If it is an unknown device then you need to find and install the appropriate camera driver. If the camera is recognised then the problem is with the way you are, or are not, doing something. I remember some years ago when I used a camcorder that there was difficulty in discovering how to get the data to flow.
