I know that this is not an Everex form..BUT I've heard they interchange parts...I have the 12" laptop (SA2052T) and just got it on Ebay today...works perfect..amazing price EXCEPT the number 6 is dead...tried using air...electronics cleaner...took off the rubber boot..all to no avail..

QUESTION: Am I missing an diffrent fix....if not can you replace the keyboards on these things? and if so..where do you find one?

    Thanks

I am not sure if there are any other steps you could try before replacing it, the reason I replaced mine was more then 5 keys were not working. I am assuming that they are the same so you shouldn't have any issues, tell us how it works out for you.

thanks, I thought I did good search but must have focused too much Everex..

That is the same keyboard though, same secure points, has the plastic clip on it and all...

For all you Everex owners, You can't find a keyboard to replace the 12" keyboard. BUT a lot of folks stock the Averatec.. Thanks for the advice.

    FOLLOW UP.

yeah...the keyboard is screwed down..you've got to take out the whole motherboard or else you have to pull hard on the keyboard (it bends a little..ok a alot). But the good news is that when you click it back down it all looks ok, (little more key flex though.)
