We recently purchased the docking station for our 6625wd
and it appears it doesn't dock well or completely.

On a completely flat surface, if we attempt to dock the
laptop as per instructions, it seems to connect but not
'snap' into place. As well, roughly 25% of the time it won't
connect at all and continue to run on battery.

If we turn the laptop completely over and try and dock it
this way (everything is upside down) we can get it to
dock completely (it snaps into place).

There doesn't appear to be any problems visually with
    the laptop or docking station.

If anyone has any thoughts or solutions, let me know?

I've the same problem. It's not secure and does not lock in place. It sort of rests in place. Not very satisfactory.

If anybody got a solution I will read it with interest.

This was resolved by sending it in. Though it's still not a 'great' docking
mechanism, it works much better now. I'd recommend sending yours in
    if you can.
