There is no contact information in the zepto.fi page except the email to which nobody seems to bother to reply. Semi recent problems with my year old Zepto 6615WD. Often when gaming it crashes to blue screen, "contact Vendor whatnot". Windows error checking suggests I update my BIOS. Other very recent problem is that it shuts down by itself and will not restart for about a minute or so...after which it boots up just fine. I need to run memtest I guess. I have read something of other people having these same problems on this forum...What do I do with my Zepto in Finland then? Any suggestions, help...hits...contact information for Zepto?

What is the exact error message on the blue screen?

    Something like this?

    Hardware Malfunction
    Contact your vendor for repair

Yes Zepto finland is quite non-existing right now, contact Zepto international instead. You should get answers from there.

Ether you should contact the place where you bought it, wich probably is Digicomp who was the primary Zepto contact in Finland. Or you can contact our international support directly.

Yeah it is the same Memory Parity error that Baserk mentioned, I do notice that the puter is running very hot when it does the shutdown, not always so for the memory parity. I guess I need to try and contact the Zepto international. I don't really know but could it be BIOS like windows suggests? If so how do I go about updating mine?

Why not do it on a RW media? I flashed my BIOS (6625) with DVD-RW, no problems. And I know many others here uses RW media

I also use CDRW for BIOS changes.

If the worry is about a bad burn resulted in corruption then the BIOS update program should do a checksum on the new BIOS data before the flashing. I also use Nero's verify option when burning any discs.

I started working on the zepto.fi site in the middle of March, and all incoming e-mails will now be answered. The new e-mail address for Finnish sales and support is [email protected].
