Will the OCZ BIOS allow FSB overclicking of the q9000.
If this chip can be cranked to 2.53ghz it would be a killer
-
better have a cooler
-
You don't need a cooler when only overclocking by .27GHz
-
It's my understanding that you can only overclock via BIOS if it's an Extreme chip (and maybe an ES chip?).
You'll have to overclock via a SetFSB type program. -
the q9000 will not be able to be oc'ed without setfsb or something similar. only extreme chips can be oc'ed in the bios
-
Id like to see some setfsb results with this CPU once people start selling them.
-
i have 2 es samples here (already sold) so they are available and prob will be mainstream soon enough
