    Hi,

So I disabled the automatic "Sleep" feature when I close my laptop lid because I was using it as a music player for a couple days. In short, I just closed the lid and stored it in my backpack for a good 30 minutes until I took it out again, only to realize that the system was still running.... It was insulated by a neoprene sleeve to make matters worse...

IF the computer had reached dangerously high temperature levels, shouldn't the computer have shut off??? The laptop is working as of this moment, at least under a light load. But the neoprene sleeve was very warm and the laptop itself was warm too when I took it out.

BTW, I have the 1.10 BIOS installed.

I already made sure my notebook goes to "Sleep" anytime I close the lid, just in case of carelessness again....

the intel processor will automatically throttle down to prevent overheating and should turn off if it reaches a high enough temp (somewhere around 100*C). You'll be fine.
